Con­necting with view­ers emo­tion­ally through visual imagery, I employ­ skill­ful tech­niques that merge tra­di­tional pho­tog­ra­phy, design and com­po­si­tion, and a widely var­ied mix­ture of nat­ural media, with the infi­nite pos­si­bil­i­ties afforded through mod­ern dig­i­tal imagery and dig­i­tal paint­ing. My work employs cre­ative inter­ac­tions of the old with the new in an excit­ing adven­ture of explo­ration and dis­cov­ery.

Most of my pieces have their birth in my own photographic images. I always keep my originals...even at various stages of editing...for as I learn new techniques to experiment with, it is highly probable that certain pieces will be revisited, or even re-used, in a an altogether new composition.

My obsessions with subject matter is constantly fluctuating, though you will likely find a very common love of all things old, abandoned, forgotten; things that display varying nuances of texture and color; and all things outdoors, and of rural nature. Sometimes you may notice a stronger leaning toward photography...at others, more inclinations toward digital painting, fine art photography and mixed media works. Who knows what manner of bee may get in my bonnet next...I am artist. Watch me grow...
